What you’ve done already

  • You shipped production-grade Ruby on Rails applications for at least 5 years.
  • Ideally, you’ve also worked with non-relational databases (DynamoDB, Opensearch), complex API-Integrations and integrated AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini).
  • You love working in small, fast-paced, highly autonomous teams.
  • You’re not just reading HN - you’re deeply engaged with the latest developments in AI/LLM tech.
  • We couldn’t care less about any degrees. Only experience and know-how counts.

What you’ll do

  • Design & build a multi‑tenant Rails application that scales from day one.
  • Own the backend and jump into full‑stack tasks when needed. Rails only, no React/JS except Stimulus
  • Drive architecture, infrastructure, and product direction with your own ideas.
  • Grow quickly into a leadership role, potentially Lead Developer or VP Engineering, as we scale. Or you just keep on hacking great code - up to you.
